My profile
As a clinical psychologist in private practice in Montreal and a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec, I offer assessment and psychotherapy services to adults and adolescents.
I support people who are experiencing various psychological difficulties, including depression, anxiety, phobic disorders, attachment disorders, and simple or complex post-traumatic stress disorders.
As a certified EMDR psychotherapist, a recognized approach in the treatment of psychological trauma, I have a particular interest in psychotraumatology. I therefore regularly work with people who have experienced particularly difficult situations such as accidents, physical or sexual assaults and abuse, and situations of mistreatment or emotional neglect in childhood.
My work is based primarily on cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT) and is part of a humanistic approach, centered on listening, respecting and understanding each person's experience.
My journey
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to support individuals with a wide range of realities and psychological difficulties.
Domestic and family violence
At the beginning of my practice, I worked for several years in the field of domestic violence, where I supported both victims and perpetrators in clinical and institutional settings. This work allowed me to develop a deep understanding of relational dynamics, violence, and their psychological impacts.
Doctors Without Borders
Subsequently, I collaborated for a few years with Doctors Without Borders, where I supported refugees and asylum seekers who had experienced profoundly traumatic events, such as war, systemic violence, torture, or human trafficking. This clinical work with individuals who had experienced severe and repeated trauma led me to further my training in psychotraumatology and to develop a therapeutic approach sensitive to the complexity of these experiences.
EMDR training
Working with these patients led me to train in EMDR therapy at the Institut Français d'EMDR (IFEMDR) . I am now a certified EMDR psychotherapist and a member of EMDR Canada and EMDRIA. In my practice, I regularly integrate this approach when appropriate. It is a particularly useful tool for addressing the lingering effects of traumatic events, reducing the emotional impact of difficult experiences that continue to affect current life, and facilitating the integration of these experiences.

My practice
Today, I continue my work in private practice in Montreal, where I see adults and adolescents aged 14 and over who wish to undertake psychotherapy. Sessions take place in my office, in a calm and confidential setting conducive to discussion and reflection.
If you would like to initiate psychotherapy, please contact me by clicking the button below. Upon receiving your message, I will take the time to ensure your request aligns with the services I offer, and then I will invite you for a brief phone call. This initial discussion will allow me to better understand your needs, verify that the framework I offer meets your expectations, answer your questions, and schedule an initial appointment.
Our first two or three meetings will be dedicated to an assessment phase. They will help me better understand your current situation, your history, the difficulties you are experiencing, and to determine the objectives of the process together. This will also allow us to gradually establish the foundations of a relationship of trust and allow you to determine if you feel comfortable with the process.
